The assault resulted in the partial shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the T3 parking area.

Two more people are now in custody in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport where 21 people sustained injuries by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A man, 24, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, the force said.

The arrests come after a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was one of the those hurt in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Police were alerted at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals injured by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.

The assault - an event that police said was isolated and not considered terrorism - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
